Jane Holt-Morris, Wedding Photographer

Jane Holt-Morris established Red Shoe Photography in 1995, not realizing the success she would have in capturing those special moments in each one of her bride and groom's weddings.

Years ago while deciding on a company name, she recalled her days at school where she prepared a slide presentation of "The Journey of the Red Shoe", and thus was born Red Shoe Photography. Having a bit of fun with the name during bridal sessions, she has asked her brides to allow her to take a portrait of them in their bridal gowns while wearing red shoes.

Due to her unique style and passion, currently in the works is Brides of Houston in Red Shoes, a book she looks forward to publishing about her photographic compilations.

Melissa Vining, Photographer's Assistant

With Camera in hand, Melissa was always known as "the photographer" of the group. With a passion to tell a story through both words and photographs, she graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism and photography.

What soon developed was a love for capturing black-and-white candids and romantic moments between a bride and groom. She has been with Red Shoe Photography since October 2001, and enjoys the opportunity to help document your special day.

Melissa won third place for black and white photography at The Woodlands Photo Club Winter 2001 contest. She also enjoys darkroom work in her spare time. Melissa and her husband Tony live in Spring with their dogs CJ and Pre and their cat Maxie
